What energy and levels are for

Energy is a second meter, not a second currency. Each faucet claim spends some, and it refills on its own over time. It is there so the faucet cannot be emptied in ninety seconds by one person with eleven accounts.

Levels are the reward for turning up. Every claim, every page you read and every achievement moves you up, and each level pays a one-off reward that is written into your history like any other coin.

Neither one can be bought, sold or transferred. They belong to your account, which is the point: the account is the thing, and everything here hangs off it.
